I have had some experience breeding these guys and I would in no way recommend them as a first dart frogs and if it is your first thumbnail then get sexed adults. I have found that it is better to keep them in 1.1 pair rather than in groups for breeding purposes. If you have seen/heard your male calling and aren't getting eggs add some N. Compacta broms to the cage, mine laid there first clutch just 4 hours total after I out them in some a variety of breeding spots is needed. My adults some how escaped through a micro-scopic hole so keep your tanks well covered (this really sucked as the female had a toatl of 7 tads on her back). You can let tadpoles raise them selves if you want considering I have done it with no feeding and no presence of adults but it takes a very long time. one thing that is nice about this is that tadpoles get huge before coming out. I have one as big as an adult with good size back legs and beutiful pattern that has been in a pond in the tank since super bowl sunday (he should morph out some time after memorial day and I am going to just raise him in his parents tank (18g)only thing different is the hole is gone. just something to think about
