Sorry to bother everyone, but I need some advice regarding my pet redfoot. Everyone has been very helpful in the past and I was hoping someone could advise me on a growing issue. My redfoot has a slight crack in its beak; I don't know how it happened but I tried to "fix" it by trimming it a bit but I think I made it worse. In retrospect, I should've had someone hold her down while I tried to file her beak but I was by myself and tried "trimming it" with some cutters and that didn't really work/probably made it worse. It's just really cumbersome because they can just hole up whenever they want and make it impossible and I'm too much of a softy to really pull her head out or restrain her legs tight for fear of hurting her. She can still eat fine but has trouble with food she normally just chomped through and I'm getting a little worried. Is there anything I can do to seal the crack, like something similar for cracked nails? I really appreciate any help anyone can provide; sorry to bother you once again; I was hoping I would never have to again Thanks so much in advance.

cheers
