hatchrite

I have a female who is ready to lay eggs, I have a hova bator incubator. I have hatch rite for substate. Has anyone used this before? It says no need to mix water into it. Can this be right? Please let me. Thanks Josh
PS This is my first time incubating eggs so any advice would be great.

Take a scoop out with your hand and squeeze it. if water drips out it is too wet if it forms a nice ball that cracks apart when broken in two its just right.
