copperhead swallowing a ciccada

on warm evenings after sundown I can see from 1 to 4 copperheads
within 100 feet of my house cruising the area. they like to circle the very large oak trees looking for ciccadas. by the time my wife came with the camera this one just swallowed the ciccada but the noncompressible exoskeleton of the bug causes an unusually round lump as compared to a frog or mouse.

Neat photo! Too bad it was a bit too late. That was a freshly hatched cicada?

ciccada looked a bit dark so I am not sure how fresh it was...I didnt see its shed....but I know they eat alot of ciccadas in my area.
