This guy hit the side of my car & was a little dizzy for a few minuits, he flew off soon after

Man this thing is brown

On this day, every one of the prarie rattlesnakes I found under rocks had fresh sheds undernieth too. Weird.

this one was shy

I found this one getting attacked by a bird the other night. The bird flew off & I'm pretty sure he wasnt comming back (other wise I wouldnt have interfeared), so I brought him home to let him heal up here, We'll see how it goes.

Dane,

Holy *Beep!* Man, I'm in snake central (Texas) but you make me jealous! I wish I had a locale like this!
BTW, is that second snake a racer subspecies? Only one I don't recognize..

I assume, you mean Eastern Yellowbelly, right? Anyway, pretty cool for a racer.
I cannot even find a rattlesnake here, though I can find copperheads.
BTW, how do you post pics on the forum?

Sincerely,
Matthew

Another great post! To bad about that Garter. I just hate to see stuff like that, but that's nature for you. I also thought the layered rocks in the first couple of photo's was really cool.

Thanks man!
