put him in a damp pillow case (just DAMP, wring it out, then wring it out again in a dry towel really well, then let it dry a bit)
ALSO
You need to figure out what U R gonna do about being scared of him
if you are going to resist giving care, because you are concerned about being bit, you might want to consider a new home for him.
Sorry to be harsh, but I had the same conversation with my daughter before she got her first BP (she actually bought the snake that DID bite her at the Breeders) She still jumps, but is not actually scared anymore

Don't be frightened. Your snake is not going to die. I would put him/her in a sweat box. This never fails me.

* One Rubbermaid container
* One damp (not wet) towel or pillowcase. Some recommend this be breathable - I have not noticed any ill effects with my household pillowcases. Just don't wet the entire thing.
* Undertank heat pad placed on one end (1/3 of the enclosure)

Put the towel in the bottom of the container. Place the snake in the middle. Then fold the other half of the towel over the snake and close the container. The skin should be off within a couple of hours.

Good luck!

thanks

Yes, you'll need some holes for ventilation. I would check in an hour. If not off, leave for another 1-2 hours.

No. Put it on a table, on the floor or wherever. It's just a temporary place to create a very humid area to loosen the skin.

i'm sowie if i'm annoying but i'm worried about him being in there for so long....

jmartin104 Sep 04, 2003 11:09 AM

Don't worry. Just ensure it's not too hot 80-85 degrees is fine. You just want to heat up the air enough to hold plenty of moisture. The insides of the container should "sweat".

the skin still didn't come off???

thanks ahead

Give him time. The humidity loosens the skin. His movement inside/under the towel/pillowcase will help gently rub the skin off. I have had one or two bad sheds that required an overnight stay in Hotel Sweat. So don't worry too much. It will work.
