Its hard to believe this girl (middle photo) is not quite 4 yrs old yet. She is the first BCC that I produced. She is very girthy like her Mom was. Her dad is a Dyer Suriname (top photo) who was not small either. Her Mom was Mega Peaks (bottom photo).

When you are selecting breeders do you try to find similar looking ones or do you try to combine traits that are different as if to combine the best of both worlds?

I put ones together that have characteristics that I like. Both adults can have the same characteristics or one adult can have some and the other adult can have the others. You usually get a few babies with the look you are looking for. In this case I wanted huge peaks and dark saddles. That is why I had picked the parents to begin with.
