Because while you and I think they're cool, not enough people feel the same way to make them profitable as a breeding project. Plus, most (all?) would come from CA which limits the numbers which can be possessed such that it discourages breeding (at least for CA residents).

Yea...I don't think that advertisement was there the day it was questioned. That is only the second add I think I've ever seen for them lizards.
