just hatched this odd brooksi

Lindsay Aug 11, 2008 09:52 AM

the side patterns are just about gone but it looks nothing like a whitesides. mother is a 1993 het for hypo from Krysko, father is hypo that produces the "baldy" babies with nearly blank head patterns. She is a fairly average looking brookis (normal phenotype)but over the years she has produced some of the most orange hatchlinhs, the whitest hatchings, and now this one.

Yeah you should. It would be fun to see what you can get.

I believe that a florida breeder (last name damico??) that had a pair like that for sale several years ago. I think Don Shores has an adult male from that lineage that looks just like that. It is a knockout. Congratulations on the awesome hatchling. It would be interesting to see what the means of inheritance might be.

Hey, The Green Swamp is halfway between my house and the show. Unfortunately so is Disney World.

I also acquired Don Shores male which is the sibling to my bone white adults. We bought them at the same time about six years ago.

Yours will turn more white with age as well.
