cage appliance guidance

hey guys,
i'm new at the building cages/ racks thing. i spent the free time i had this weekend puting together a terrarium/ vivarium for my red tail. i used a few links online to help me with the design. Its basically finished. i attached some pics. it measures 6 feet long by 33 inches high by 32 inches deep. its heavy duty mainly built from cabinet grade plywood and 2x4's. but to make sure i will be able to move it i installed 6 casters on the frame for easy moving. its been primed/ sealed and painted many times. well anyway, hopefully should be plenty for the redtail in the future. only thing left to do on it is install the front door and interior elements (heat, lights, etc). Any reccomendations on heating a cage this size. thx

Radiant heat panel is the way to go. See www.beanfarm.com or search for RBI plastics. Another source is Reptile Depot and www.pro-products.com. All will work nicely. All are perfect for a large boid. All are mounted inside the cage and won't cause burns to the animal.

If you use belly heat under painted plywood, you will be sorry in time you did. Heat from above. Plywood holds heat in nicely.

Nice cage, nice job.
