I have a pretty girl BT that I have been growing up to pair with my big boy Black T-Rex. Should have some breeding this winter or Spring. The female was picked out of a bunch of young monitors by Robyn at pro exotics and it seems they got it right. Will keep everyone informed. Thanx Robyn.

Very cool looking. It really makes you think about what you may get into. How often and what size rats do you feed him. I was just wondering since I never really see CBB babies how many people actually breed them, and I have not seen many the way PE sells them.

I feed him 1 xL rat twice a week. Use to feed more but had to cut back to control his weight. This amount seems to be perfect for him. He does get occasional extras though when my snakes refuse a meal which happens quite often with my Balls. Good old garbage disposal.

i want a BT if anyone is breeding them anytime soon. can't seem to find any babies around now. maybe i have a prolapsed rectum. hm.

Blackthroats currently, I dont know of anyone who is breeding them.
Rob Faust has in the past (he breeds cape banded WTs now), a gentleman in Florida bred them a few times (and videotaped the entire process) in the past, and PE has bred them in the past.
There are many attempting, but it remains to be seen how many suceed.
