Corn poop VS Ball poop....

Kikai Sep 04, 2003 10:09 AM

Silly title, I know, but I have a question for people who are familiar with both animals. My ball's feces looks like my cat's. Pretty solid form, with urates passed (usually) seperately. My corn snake, on the other hand, has stools that are looser and passes his urates at the same time, usually. The corn also eats and defecates more often than the ball does. Anyone have an opinion? (I thought the poop stories would stop when the kids potty trained.....obviously not )

I have BPs and corns and have noticed the same thing. I think it is pretty normal. I have always had corns and kings until I got the BPs and the first time they pooped I was really suprised at how different it was. Looked like a toy poodle had pooped in my snake cage! LOL!

same thing with mine.
I find the B.Ps much esier to clean up after ,just roll up the news paper and throw it away. The corns manage to get it even on the sides of thier cages, takes more scrubing. My B.ps seem to put on more wieght with the same amount of food ; lower metabolisms then the corns.
