Reverse striped Guyana

cbmorphs Aug 11, 2008 05:19 PM

Here's an 04 reverse striped Guyana! Not very big, but I'm hoping she prove's out to be gravid.. She's due the 28th of this month. I've been feeding her about every 2 or 3 weeks (very small meals), she has'nt shed since P.O.S.. She's had a small but ever growing lump around the last third of her body, but I'm not sure?
The sire is a clean looking typical patterned & colored Guyana.. I've had him since 1996, I believe he was born in 95.. This will be his 1st litter if she proves out!!

Thanks for looking!

Right on Chaz, She is very nice and that is what is so difficult with the B.c.c. "you never know" they carry different than B.c.i.
Best wishes to you.

Thanks Joel! This is the first time breeding Guyanas, I've heard they were a challenge to breed! The Peruvian that dropped for me last month was similar, just she was larger!!

Thanks again!!

Its fairly easy to tell when the female is gravid, she should look bigger in the back half of the body and lose weight in the front half. Of course it helps when they act gravid also, good luck.

This is what I thought too! She is bigger in the back half as you say, just not as big as I would expect! This is were my uncertainty is coming from!

Thanks for reply
