Pics from the San Jose Reptile Show (CA). I went on Saturday 8/9/08. My guy took the pics, so I didn’t get all the shots I wanted, alas, and some didn’t come out that good, but still got quite a few good shots overall. There were some really beautiful animals and it was great seeing everyone. Next time I’m going to take a pic of the booth before a shot of the animals so I know who everything belonged to and can give proper credit.
First some overview shots:

Fuzzy pic of a jungle boa:

Boa Constrictor Longicauda

Sharp sunglow and sharp albino (normal sunglow and albino on the side that got cut off)

Dave of Rainbows-R-Us hanging out with his beautiful salmon girl, Cinnamon

Wouldn’t be complete without a pic of Luna, so hard to get her colors on camera! Ignore my terrible cropping...

Brian of For Goodness Snakes with a gorgeous caramel ball python

Some of his beautiful boas and pythons:

Wish the other pics of the sunglow motley came out, ah-well.

Lots of people were having fun at Brian’s table holding one of his big girls!

He suddenly looks worried hehe

This little girl was having a lot of fun, she had the cutest facial expressions

Table with Retics, Burmese and a few boas in the background:

Closer look at the albino striped (super tiger?) retic:

Albino Burm

Emerald Tree Boa

He seemed to have some swelling in his mouth or substrate stuck?

If I had $600, these would have come home with me, I’ve wanted a pair for a long time

Hypo BRB and some nice normals

Nice hognose

Of course, these weren’t for sale

Woma, there were actually quite a few of these
GTP being handled, this drew a big crowd, not a good pic though

One of the absolute highlights for me was being able to hold this gorgeous chocolate head black headed python. One of my dream snakes.

Isn’t he wonderful?

Some kids starting grabbing his tail behind my back, I wasn’t too happy with them. Lol

Of course it wasn’t all just snakes:

Giant Pixie Frog

Peach Throat Monitor

We snapped this pic of the large cayman iguana before realizing there was a fee, oops!

Mata Mata

Conjoined turtles

Hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I enjoyed the show!

Take care,
