A Cinnamon Genetic Stripe and Something?

Exotics by Nature Aug 12, 2008 06:49 PM

Hi guys,

I haven't posted here in a while but I figured I'd get an opinion on these two. The Cinnamon Genetic Stripe in these pics is the second of two males that I know of. The first one hatched here a couple months ago.

These two animals are NOT clutchmates. The Cinnamon Stripe was produced from a Cinnamon 100% Het. Stripe male bred to a 100% Het. Stripe female. The lighter animal in these pics was produced from a Pewter 100% Het. Stripe male bred to a Genetic Stripe female. Is this the Pewter Stripe?!? It has a ton of light pastel colors but it bears a dark Cinnamon like head.

I guess we'll see when it grows a bit...

Opinions welcome!

Nice animals Sean !! Glad to see the Genetic Stripe does combine well into alot of other genes! I'm trying to put the G Stripe into a few new things myself as I think things may turn out pretty wicked.. Anthony McCain.

I think that IS the Pewter Genetic Stripe...

It's head IS lighter than the Cinny Stripe...

And, just maybe the Genetic Stripe is playing havoc with the amount of yellow we expect to see in a Pewter.
(Some Genetic Stripes DO seem to have an excess of yellow....)

Congrats on the both of them.

I would have expected a Pewter Stripe to be more silver. Do you think it could be variation of color in the Cinny? Very cool combo regardless. Congrats! Keep up the great work!
