Almost Datona time?

BRB_Russ Aug 13, 2008 01:17 PM

Who all is going? I heard that some big names might not be showing up because of the costs etc combined with the economy in the state that it is in.

Regardless, i am so close that i am definatly going to be there, i am going to TRY not to buy any more snakes . . but it will be a test of will.

Last year i didnt get to see anyone because i was only there for a half day. . .

Anyone down for meeting up?

Who is going to be a vendor?

Dave,
...You are gonna make the Daytona Show about the same time I make some of the big California shows. The REAL reason we do not go to shows all the wa across the country is that we are old farts and not prone to do something different.

So when's your next california show? I know you're in No. Cal, and I'm in So. Cal, but I figured I'd run into you by now... but I haven't.

Thinking about maybe dropping in to visit at Anaheim, but is a long haul for a day trip. The following weekend (Sep 13/14) is the Sacramento show and I will be vending that one.

Dave,
..It seems like you have quite a few good shows in California. Anaheim, Sacramento, San Diego, smaller one in San Jose and others. Which is the biggest and best?

I'd LOVE to go, but Minnesota's awfully far from Florida (= expensive), and I'm not in the market for a new snake right now. (I'm waiting for my latest purchase to arrive---as soon as the darned finicky little girl decides to finally eat!) Someday....

I will have table 426. Anyone from the forum who wants me to look for animals for them on friday just let me know. I did notice some old names not on the vendor list and lots of new names also. The total number of tables looks about the same.

Russ,
...My table is in the main room towards the northwest corner of the building. There is a link from the expo website that opens a large PDF document which has all the show info including the vendors list and a diagram of table layout.

I'm going! It'll be my first time, too. I'm so excited - I'm already picking up one animal there, so hopefully that will be enough to reign in my spending habits.
I'm also down for meeting up, if anyone wants to!

You know you're addicted when your one vacation of the summer is a three-day trip to Daytona for a reptile show....

I almost went, but then spent all my money at the San Diego Show... LOL!!

It's kind off topic for this forum, but I know Hans Winner is going, and for those not familiar, he produced the BCI Leopard Line, and he's coming all the way from Germany... way cool to check out even if you don't do BCI's. This is the reason I almost went
