Is there a small slice in the egg?? I don't believe eggs ooze because of mold -- maybe look a lil closer and tell us what's happening.

yes its on the bottom of the egg,and is defiantly egg yoke or whatever...the snake is alive and moving in the egg..the mold got bad on that egg and those little humpback fly i think are the cause for the hole...is there anything i can do to save this guy? like i said there so close to hatching there at 55 days and the other eggs have started to dimple....any help would be greatly appreciated....

Depending on what it looked like, I would probably mix the incubating medium around so the area of the leaking egg is fresh again, then burry the leaky part in enough medium to keep the flies at bay. I would bet since it's almost time to hatch, it would be okay to be left alone,....but of course this isn't a definite answer, just an opinion.

the main thing is that it IS so close to hatching, that the neonate should be none the worse off. Now if this were half-term and happening, then the developing embryo COULD be seriously affected. However at this juncture I don't feel it's an issue at all. Just keep it clean, and if you're comfortable, take the clutch out and place into a separate box and onto damp paper towels in order to have some greater sterility, if you will. Keep us posted.
