I haven't kept up with my taxonomy like I should but I believe it used to be called a Blackhood Snake (Tantilla rubra cucullata). I hear tell that it was recently combined with the Devil's River Blackhead Snake (Tantilla rubra diabola). So maybe it's a T. r. cucabola! Sounds like some kind of mixed drink!

...it's cu cu LATTA... I believe the Latin translation is "very crazy" (coo coo lotsa). Could be Italian or Brooklanese! Use: "whatsa matta you? You coo coo latsa??
