right after I got finished walking a very long cut and not seeing a thing...I get back to my car and right underneath a large black tail crawling by!

You have to watch your step..

I remember years ago I was not looking down walking a cut and I kicked the tail of an atrox on the crawl.... We looked at each other for a minute and then went our seperate ways.

Could have been worse.

Now when I walk I do it in like 5 - 10 foot incriments and pause to check everything out.
