They've hatched

myotismn Aug 13, 2008 06:09 PM

I wanted to show off my first clutch of thayeri babies. They are from a Vivid male and a Mike Bodner female. I got seven total. 3 pipped by themselves and after waiting a day I cut the rest (Thanks Russ and Ken!) One has yet to come out so I don't know what it looks like yet, but most look like the father. One, the smallest of the group looks a bit like its mom but is missing most of the first couple bands which I thought looked pretty cool.

Congratulations. Those are so awesome. I agree with Michelle the first leonis pic and the MSP with the broad nuchal saddle are awesome specimens.
I would really like to see some of the other leonis phase ones.....

Great pictures too...

Congrats on those.

That last one kind of reminds me of someone I used to know.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Now for the fun part...getting them to eat. Hopefully all will go well, but if anyone has any tips I'd be happy to hear them.
