Question on patterns

dknorr Aug 14, 2008 12:05 AM

Will the second snake's "skull and crossbones" looking saddle change much with age?

Is the first a zagtec?

Thanks

The first is a zig zag. Most zig zag patterns don't go from head to tail, so if something is partially zig zagged, it's usually called a zig zag.

The skull and cross bones pattern is unlikely to change, but the snakes colors will and that could make the pattern less "contrasty" and therefore less noticeable.

Below is a corn that I produced a couple of years ago with the shape of a heart on its neck.
