Phoenix Worms?

beardielover17 Aug 14, 2008 08:02 PM

I hear so many different opinions as far as using these as a staple...what are your thoughts? I recently bought 200 large ones to just try out as treats for my dragons nd they love em but I wanna know what people think of them as staples...I'm not gonna lie the size of them suck in my opinion....also is it true that if too many are fed to a dragon it causes dehydration? I dont see how it could be possible as long as you keep water in with the dragon to drink and bathe them several times per week but I could be wrong

They are a great feeder worm but are not really suited to be a staple for adult dragons, they are just too small for that. Great for babies and juvi's though. But offer a variety of insects, such as superworms, silkworms, butterworms, hornworms and crickets. Roaches work too.
