Ripcord is 6 weeks today

el_toro Aug 15, 2008 12:44 PM

Ripcord is having his six week birthday today. He got a butterworm with a candle (j/k on the candle). He's doubled his arrival weight near as I can tell with my scale only sensitive to one whole gram. He weighs in at 12g this morning, full of breakfast.

Crummy pictures, but that's what I take. The one on paper towels was in his feeding tub a couple days ago. The other is this morning. He's about to start another body shed - his tail shed two days ago. He's mostly brown and cream with his vibrant orange baby stripes. His front legs hint at the nice dark greens of his daddy.

Also, big huggy thanks to everyone posting photos of their new arrivals - they're all gorgeous! I especially love all those NM honeys!

I think I like the NM ones best, don't you?

He is adorable and looks so bright eyed and healthy!

He is looking great, Tory! His siblings weighed more about 10 grams on their 6 week birthday.
