I can't thank you enough for the helpful hints. Recipe was perfect. 80*F; 63/64 days; all six eggs hatched. BTW:I was eyeballing those hypo deppei and capes you recently hatched. Gorgeous animals! Appreciate the help.

Any time Robert and thanks. That's a nice looking clutch. That bottom, center one in the top pic with the orangish background color should be a screamer.

Had to go back and take a second look. I didn't notice until you and Jason pointed that out. Can the pinkish/orangish background and less contrasting blotches be used as a predictor for future (mature) background coloration? Also, did ya notice how elongated the eggs were? I went back and saw some pics of yours where the clutch size was larger (dozenish+) but the eggs are much more rounder.

From what I've seen in the past ones with that orangish pink coloring in the upper body as hatchlings tend to be especially orange as adults. The ones with dark outlines around their blotches as hatchlings tend to have more solid black blotches in the upper body as adults but they can suprise you.

Hi Robert

Wow sharp looking Jani you got there. I dig that one hatchling that is pinkish.

Thanks Jason. That is truly a remarkable variety of some outstanding Pits. I love those Rusty Sonorans. Where and when can I get some.
