Drilling PVC

bakeaway Aug 15, 2008 05:43 PM

Is there a certain type of drill bit to use when drilling through PVC? I tried using a regular one and it did not work that well, and left the hole ragged.
Thanks
David

This drill bit will drill through PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, polyethylene and ABS and will leave a nice hole without jaggedness. If done right, it will debur as well. One bit costs around $32 but has about 10 diameters in one bit.

Don't use it on wood. Just plastic and laminates.
