Would someone tell me step by step what to do to breed corns as well as what photoperiod and all that means. thanx

Breeding step #1 - Buy and study a copy of Bill and Kathy Love's The Corn Snake Manual. You'll find the rest of the steps in there.

Photoperiod is the number of hours of light and dark in a 24 hour day. I believe that the World Almanac has the times of sunrise and sunset at various places in the USA throughout the year. Pick a location where you know corn snakes are found, preferably around the middle of the species range. Set your lights to come on at that location's sunrise and to go off at that place's sunset each day. You are now giving your corns a photoperiod that is equivalent to what they would encounter in the wild.
