Sonoran desert Mexicoboa clutch

henke2 Aug 16, 2008 12:56 AM

Our 66% possible het pair sonoran desert mexicoboa proved out. It was the fist time breeding them and the female is about 140 cm.
I guessed it would be around 8 babies. That was not even close.

Yesturday she delivered 19 babies and no slugs. Unfortunatly the one and only leopard in the litter was stillborn.

We had bad odds in a litter of 19 but still we proved out the sire and dam so we are very happy anyway.

Better luck with the leopards next year.

Congratulations! Bad odds this time but at least you know they are hets. Who knows how your luck will turn out in the future? Great looking litter.
