Albino question...

pspguy Sep 04, 2003 03:24 PM

I bought an albino last weekend. I am not certain she has eaten, but she does come out at night and walk the tank. How bad is there eyesight? Should I be doing anything other then putting the crix and mealies in the tank?? (I give them some of both at the same time...)

there eyesight sucks, but it really isn't affected under dim/dark lighting conditions...they can see and hunt just fine in the dark..so as long as they ARE being exposed to darkness for the proper amounts of time then they will eat on their own.

Well all my geckos are getting about 10 hours of nighttime lighting. Her quarentine tank gets an Exo-Terra Nightbulb which of course is basically a black light, I just wasn't sure how much light was too much.
