Thanks Jim. here are pictures of the female as a baby and, through adulthood, the sire was one of three males I have in my collection, I breed her to all three.

Jim, I just noticed,if you look close at their head markings, between both posts. Each of the babies have the same head marking as one of the four adults.
check it out, Bob

RB,
Yes...I often notice the head "pattern" (and other characteristics & patterns) in the photos that I see in posts here and elsewhere...Granted it's not a big deal (preliminary hypothesis) but, over the years of doing this I've noticed that the head pattern is a possible characteristic of individuals over time in captivity...Odds are that the head pattern will repeat itself down the genetic tree in the future as I'm sure that it already has up the genetic tree with the parents, grandparents, etc...
This is still in it's preliminary stages with me (might be nothing at all) but, it is something that I think I've noticed from great-grandparents to grandparents to parents to progeny over time...Meaning if you were able to see the adults of your animals, I'd be willing to venture the guess that somewhere up the tree, that very same pattern has appeared before...Just a SWAG...
I'm not trying to be profound or anything but, I do see what I see...Anybody else have an opinion about this or any other "characteristic" out there?
Just wondering...

Well Jim, I agree with that, I also had a therory that head pattern would match the sex of who it looked liked. And just out of curiosity, I checked the baby females head and body pattern, and coloration.
Here are the two female hatchlings and last the mother.
Blew my therory all to heck!

Oh well, surprise, surprise, surprise;
Bob
