What Kind? Water snake?

Hello all, attached is a picture, or liink, not sure which yet. He was found near a small creek in East TN. I have a guess, but would like confirmation.

Guess it was a link. How do you make links appear as pictures?

That's a Midland Brown Snake(Storeria dekayi wrightorum).

If you right click on an internet photo, you will see a window that says "properties", then highlight the URL making sure that ALL the info is highlighted. Then go to the forum and "left click" the info in the gray box below the posting field marked "Image URL". Below all that stuff is a "Preview Message" button that you can click on to make sure your post is the way you want it, then if it is, then go ahead and click on the "Post Message" button as you normally would.

That once the URL address is fully highlighted, you must click the "okay" button for it to take affect!...then go on as explained.

Thank you Doug. Just for info, my guess was incorrect. I guessed Water Snake, but head seemed wrong. The little guy has been released back to the woods, to succeed or fail on his own. Hope to see more like him in the coming years.
