Yes, feeding that snake(or ANY snake) live prey can easily cause real problems, especially if the snake has a "clumsy" or awkward feeding response. Even very voracious agile snakes can get bitten by the prey and suffer permanent injuries, but especially one that isn't able to quickly grab the prey and constrict it without the rodent's mouth being free to bite, is especially suseptible to this.
Was the snake's jaw like this since it was a hatchling, or did you acquire it when it was older?. If you got it when it was a little older, then the snake's jaw problem could have actually been caused by a nasty rodent bite.
In any case, the snake looks very nice, and seems to have a good body weight.
