Runt dragon

I had a clutch hatch on 7/1 and another on 8/1. Most of the first clutch are normal sized with a couple pigs, but one is so tiny he is the size of the bigger dragons that were born on 8/1. He was normal out of his egg and I have seen him eat greens, crickets and waxworms, but his is so tiny. I moved him form the tank with his 5 clutch mates into the tank with the 2 week old dragons due to his small size. Do you think this is a good idea? The parents were both normal to large mother 18.5" and father 24.5"

Any ideas or do you think he just got the Dani Divetto genetics?

It looks like he's lost the end of his tail.

I'd just make sure you are supplementing every live meal with calcium w/D3 (no phosphorus or Vitamin A) except for one that you dust with a multivitamin.

Recheck your temps. Babies should have a basking area that approaches 115. And make sure that you have good UVB. Bulbs need to be at the proper distance and replaced about every 9 months.

yeah we had a tail biter in the clutch... it seems he didn't like crickets so he bit the ends of all the other dragons tails. and yeah temps are right the other dragons are normal to large for their age.
