Albino Pines

jovanek Aug 17, 2008 04:34 PM

I recently purchased a neonate northern pine, het for albino.

I really only wanted a normal, but only one breeder had them, and they were all hets.

My question is whether there are pure P. m. m. albinos, or whether my "P. m. m." is an intergrade.

Thanks!

If you post a picture, it MAY be easier to tell. There are pure northern albinos. I know of one strain that the founder animal originated from New Jersey and found its way to Lloyd Lemke and is established in the hobby, though not terribly common. So- long story short... it could possibly be a pure northern.
