Squirrel Story..

SenorSnake Aug 17, 2008 05:17 PM

So, I finally found my old digital camera and decided to take some pics of my super salmon girl out in the sun. The minute I took the lid off of the container I had her in I hear this hiss/screaming sound.. and it doesn't stop. I start looking around to find out what was making the noise. There was a squirrel on top of the fence screaming, what I figure is the 'snake!' warning- I found it very interesting .

And my girl's day out in the sun.

hahahahaha!!!!

Too funny!!

We had a bird do that one day... found a baby bird that had fallen out of a tree after a few minutes of looking--- snake's trip out side was cut short as to avoid dive-bombing...

That's a great story! I actually have a similar situation with a pair of my resident Mocking Birds! Every time I take some of my animals outback to photograph they start yelling at me and going nuts! I almost consider my mocking birds pets as they have lived and nested in the same oak tree since we bought our house four years ago! Love the relationships that you can build even with the critters that you don't keep!

When I was a kid a couple of birds in the front yard were scolding and chattering away like crazy. Got my interest. Upon further investigation I found a nice adult female Speckled Kingsnake crawling in the grass beneath the bird's tree. True story. Houston Texas.
