runny poo

exoticball Aug 17, 2008 06:54 PM

So I have some snakes that have had round looking poop for the past couple months and now they have been pooping runny blobs instead of the round long turd.

Should I be concerned???

Maybe try a different source of food, does it have a bad odor? does it resemble like grey crisco? Might be a good idea to have a fecal done by a vet, to see if it has internal parasites....Normal feces should not be runny, or like diareha...It might have been bad rodent you fed it, or worst case you might have internal parasites...did it just start? was this the first time you noticed this unusual deficatoin?

It has only happened once or twice now, it smells just as bad as normal but nothing extream and looks the same coloration just flat blob instead of round turd. I have been feeding them home breed rats and I know that they are all healthy, I quit feeding them petstore rats because I noticed they seemed to be sneezing and sick.

Any addvice is welcome,
matt
