I am getting this female in about a week from someone. She weighed in at 1100 grams in Feb, 3 feet long and 3 years old. The guy who is holding her for me says he got her as a reduced pattern, I don't see it? Is she, or is she just a pretty normal?

Pretty but normal. Nice pick up though.
For what it's worth "reduced pattern" is for for the most part nothing more than a pretty normal.

i've yet to meet her since she is 2 hours away, but does she show the reduced look to you? it doesnt matter either way, i plan on soon getting a male pastel and next season or so see what i can get. i have a smaller male normal that i could put with her just to "get my feet wet" in the BP business

That is not a reduced patterned animal.
i would just get a pastel male now and you may be hatching out pastels this time next year. there are alot of nice pastel males out there for 150-175 after shipping cost. just my 2cents.
with her colors do you think she would produce a nice clutch with a pastel? he said when she sheds she is a bright gold. she's brighter than the pictures make her out to be he says shes about to enter a shed..
shes just a normal....nothing special....no offense......but dont let someone snake(no pun intended) you.......good sized girl though.....
well i am only paying 105 for her and her entire setup so i can't complain any
She is pretty.
Not sure what a reduce pattern is to be honest...Between banded/tiger or reduced...they all look like nice normals...

Only piece of advice I can offer is to ask the person to please verify that it is a female for sure, I had one that I raised, I purchased her from a breeder and I had her for three years and she never got past 1200 grams, I had some doubts it was a female and probbed her and she was a he. Just make sure your getting a female.
She is very pretty..
We'll be meeting outside of a reptile pet store. i am bringing my two BP's since he was wanting to meet them. and to make extra sure one of my snakes is in fact female though i am pretty sure she is. 5 feet long, a monster of a ball. i can have them check the ball i am getting while i'm there. if all else fails and that is a male, he'd look nice with a female pastel or my big female (shes very dark in color)
I think you're doind a disservice by saying reduced patterns are just "pretty normals". By that measure, isn't a lucy, pied, or anything else just a pretty normal? I have a proven line of simple recessive GENETIC reduced patterns...They have very obvious characteristic. No, they are not as dramatic as those others, but they are a distinct morph none the less. The original posters, however, is not one...
