I know Caramel Albinos tend to kink. Are there other morphs that this has presented itself commonly?
I believe kinking is also fairly common in homozygous cinnamons (along with the duck bill thing).
The bright side is that it's not universal in either. There are normal caramels and super cinnamons. If we can figure out what variable influences when the negative tendencies of these morphs is expressed and when they are not perhaps we can overcome both problems. For example, it might turn out that some sort of vitamin supplement is needed to overcome a harmful deficiency caused by the same mutation that makes the morph characteristics we want to keep.
