Tell me what you all think about this 2 year old boy?
I have 2 like that. Bet they're all siblings. They are very nice boas, indeed. Yours looks somewhat undersized. Looks like it is being maintained in a less than optimal set-up, too.
You asked.

first of all very nice snake. Second of all I was cleaning his cage and decided to grab my camera, so excuse me. anyway's thank you for sharing your photo and your reply. I believe in bringing up my boa's slowly unlike many people who over feed there boa's. about his enclosure he is in a 30 long and has plenty of room to move aroung unlike your albino who look's a little big for his/her enclosure. well thank's again for your reply..
Walk with CHRIST, he will not lead you down the wrong path.
Yeah. I wasn't trying to get on my soap box/high horse and bash you. Promise.
I'm just not a big fan of aquariums as snake enclosures, aspen as substrate, or that type of under tank heater.
Your snake is nice. Looks healthy to me.

I have seen a lot of unkept enclosure's and pride myself on tidyness. thank's again for chating with me. I also have a pastel hypo surinam that I will be pairing up with him in 2010. Make some dh 50/50 surinam hypo's. cant wait for the 50%suri sunglow. I have seen the 25% suri albino and sunglow. I really see the difference in the 50%suri albino verses the 25%. The sunglow is probably going to be amazing. Well thank's again.. Here is a pick when I received him from Todd Smith in 06
Yes. That's where my two came from. Told ya' they were probably littermates.

your's are 06's?
Yes. Purchased 12/06 for nearly $3K for the pair. Bought off these classifieds, here. That's why I hate to see such a Cadillac snake kept in such an unsophisticated Petco manner.
Believe me, my snakes are far from pushed.

well I dont think that a plastic bin for "storage" purpose's is a way to keep a snake. Maybe neonate's or a rack system. So what make's your opinion any better than mine? I have my "cadillac" on display in my home. I have a riostat controling heat, and a digital temp and humidity sensor in his cage. I have spoken to many surinam breeder's and my boy's size is well on. Just at 36 inches. I don't want a 6 or 7 foot male in 3-5 year's. So I feed him small meal's. I have spoke with Todd several time's and he has advised me to feed light and grow him slow. And I don't appreciate the shot of "Petco enclosure." I don't feel that insulting me was very warrented. If you want your snake in a plastic enclosure why not a boaphile?? or were those bin's buy one get one at the local K-Mart?? LOL.. Well anyway's I am not looking to get into a pissing match with a fellow snake enthusiest. Everybody has an opinion, just like a-hole's, and they all stink!! Joseph
It's not about the money you spend on the enclosure. It's all about function. I do have Boaphile, AP, and Vision cages. You did get the PM I sent you, didn't you? I did mention that issue of "what people have told you" -- all that good advise.
If I have offended, sorry.
Good luck.

share your pic's?? I would love to see. thank's, Joseph
why is the "under" tank heater IN the cage? that is really a bad idea.
it's not in the tank.
??? is it stuck to the table that your cage rests on? because it seems to be sticky side down and that is why i thought that it was inside your aquarium.
it is sticky side down, I dont want the heat pad stuck to my cage, to hot! even with my riostat I dont want to take any chance's. Thank's Joseph
