Abnormal ball Granite? Thoughts

littleleeper23 Aug 20, 2008 01:34 AM

Hi All,

Got this animal as a captive hatched had several nearly identical sibs. Maybe all but cannot remember. Bought her reasonably priced from Luis Zaldivar. I think $100

She has darkened a bit with age. Still a nice orange cast to her.

Most interesting is the fact that the yellow in her dorsal striping faded to show a marbled yellow pattern.

Belly is like a faded out YB. NOT a YB though. clear belly and faintly marbled in appearance at the flanks. Head is orange/brown eyes are NOT normal.

Just thought I'd post this to see what anyone thought of her????????

Cannot wait to see what she will pop out.

God Bless, Lee Van Hyfte

Thats one looker. I think this one is something else. Doesnt look like a normal to me. If it is then its a darn nice normal. Looks like an Orange ghost... granite too as well?

Hi Rich,
Nah definately not a ghost. have butterscotch and orange isn't anything like them. I feel it has enough characters to say genetic. wish I would have bought her nearly twin brother.

She is 15 months old now. Was a hard start, now just a pig but will not make it for 2009.

In time she will either see a pastel or YB male.

Will post a belly shot shortly. Also tried to get the yellow scales but she is soooo close to shedding it did not turn out well. but will post anyway.

God Bless, Lee

NO comparison at all COMPLETELY different animals .

Isn't she a KNOCK OUT!!! Ooooh cannot wait for her to grow up. Can you imagine her honeybees?

Here are the tail and belly shots. Sorry not a lot of light available to get the shot. Plus she is on going blue so cannot visualize the yellow freckles very well. SORRY
