6 Long Years of waiting for...

BASICALLYBOAS Aug 20, 2008 05:19 AM

....these 7 perfect gems!!

Brazilian BCC!!!!

I have not produced any Brazilian BCC's since 2002. After my last litter in 2002 I lost my original Lemke female. I spent the next 6 years slowly raising up two females from my litter of which I finally bred one of them this season. She was bred by a male I picked up from Gus @ Rio Bravo Reptiles! Thanks again Gus!

I know it sounds funny, but with all the New Boa Morphs we have produced this season, this was probably my most anticipated litter this year! These are my favorite Locale Boas I work with by far.

These have some great saddles with nice big bright tails!

The parents.

I am so happy to have these 7 perfect babies!!!

Individuals.

Thanks for looking!

Oh ya, these are not going anywhere for a very long, long time!!!

Brazilian Bcc are a favorite of mine, and those are killer!

Mike,
Those are really something. I like those best out of all you produced this year.
Any thoughts on why she had a smallish litter in comparison to your huge BCI litters this year.

Andy,
I am so happy to have produced them after waiting 6 years! The litter actually had 2 still born, 1 deformed baby and 2-3 slugs. So she really had 10 total babies in her. She is not a large female, only around 14-15 lbs and the babies are huge, so that might have had something to do with it too.

Very Nice Big Mike, I like the 3rd babys down that pattern is wickedly nice on that one.. Big Congrats...

Also when are You going to write a desent book on Boa Breeding and Locals. I think You and Gus together could come up with a nice ,thick 300 page Hard cover. If You do ,You can put Me down for the First one. You have had great Success,!!!! Year after Year for some time now. Also I can't be the only one that Thinks this. Great Job....

Thanks Van! I have thought about writing a book, but to be honest I am so busy right now that I really think I want to and will get around to it when I get a little older! LOL Yep, I still have youth at my side.
I really base my success on being a perfectionist with a bit of O.C.D!
