I appreciate you getting the pic up, I tried to upload it to KS multiple times and failed miserably, lol.

Any comments? I know it's not a very good pic, but I didn't want to bother her too much. I spend hours on KS just marveling at y'alls snakes and just wanted to share mine. She was sold as a south Brazilian, but I don't know. What do y'all think? I'll get some more pics after she finishes digesting her last meal (adult mouse on 8/18.)

Thanks for looking.

Bo

Locality guesses?

Looks to me to be a BCC x BCI cross, 22 saddles from what I can see, and some small peaks. There appears to be alot of side medallions. Hard to tell from the pic... Whatever it is, enjoy it and take care of it!

I would agree with BCC X BCI. Not South Brazilian. There are many more qualified. Hopefully they'll speak up.

thanks, I expected she wasn't pure. should i expect the tail to color up any, or stay that color?

The color of the tail saddles generally grows darker with age.

I am no expert, but the South Brazilians I've seen look much different than your animal. I've only seen them with very thin saddles but I imagine there are many different varieties. Have you contacted any of the individuals who work with them on a regular basis? I know Barry Miller has some, and I've also heard the name Kerry King associated with them.
