Does anyone know what it's like in Daytona right now, and how it's going to affect the Expo?

I live in central florida which hasn't been hit as hard as say Melbourne (24 inches of rain in 36 hours!) But I've been watching the news and there are a few power outages. I'd say the biggest danger is driving across a flooded street. Melbourne and Cocoa beach were dumped on the hardest and that is about 40 miles south of Daytona (more or less.) Not a lot on the news about Daytona so I don't think they got hit so hard.

Come on down, the weathers fine, lol. No seriously, by Friday, Daytona will be okay, not real bad at the worst of it, just a lot of wind and rain. Lots of power line issues on the west side of the county.

The Expo went off without a hitch on the weekend of the third hurricane in a row a few years ago, so this should be no problem. Storm has passed Daytona now.

Gypsy is right. The show had no problems in 2004 when a hurricane came thru during the show. Well actually the worst weather was at night. The show went on. The only thing wrong with that show was there were so few customers. It was a buyers paradise though.

We are flying in from the Pacific NorthWest, watching the news footage of what it looks like down there, looked just like a normal day on the Oregon/Washington beach...except the palm trees...lol

Our flight leaves in a few mor hours....Can't WAIT!!!!

I dont get to go to Daytona this year..... due to the new job and lack of vacation time, Daytona is not an option for me this year, first time in years I haven't been there. And I hold a personal grudge against everybody else who gets to go this year.... baaaa humbug!

on a more serious note, Im jealous of all of you! haha
