Wow Phil. Those are awesome. Great looking snakes and great pics. What kind of brumation did you provide for the parents (temps, duration)? I hear they are sensitive about that requiring cold temps for a long time.

They are beautiful!! Congrats. How odd that I live in their home state and cannot legally breed them. I've still never seen one in person. Guess I need to go hiking more.

One thing I learned is that I was looking in all the wrong places at all the wrong times.

I haven't yet had opportunity to do it right, but when I do, I know my odds will be better.

I've identified a few places I really want to hit next spring.

That's a familiar looking locale....

I find it odd that wc adults are such good mousers, yet CB young often need scented pinks to get going. Go figure that one!

Aren't CB adults as eager as WC adults towards eating mice? Maybe its a size thing,babies may be a food item for mice in the wild. Just a thought
