thanks man. I am new to dealing with breeding or eggs. The female was caught gravid so I cannot say that I bred them. First eggs I have ever hatched and it went perfect. Been catching all kinds for 35 years. Guess it is time to step it up!! Thanks again.
Congratulations!,.......those are some great looking Easterns!

Congrats on hatching those beautiful easterns! Its a great feeling, isn't it? Those adults are nice. Especially that one that is bright red with a clean white background. What state are those from?
I live in Maryland and both were caught in my backyard. The one you speak of was just caught a couple of days ago and could be the father of the clutch. All but one look like him. He is a sweet heart just like the mother too!!! Both gave me a nip when I caught them but have been super calm and gentle since. I saw one dead on the road earlier in the year that had bright red blotches. Maybe a coastal plains milk. Thanks for the compliment on the babies. My first ever hatch.
Joe I go to calvert and st marys ones or twice a year looking for snakes. I have a male corn from Calvert co that i want to match up with a female. If you ever find one or know someone please let me know. I may go back down in sept for a day.I have a few good spots but last time i was there in april some nuts had cleaned all the trash from the a few of the spots. Can you imagine?

I go to waldorf sometimes ( have not been in a while ) and catch eastern kings. I will let you know about the corn snake. I am going to a place next week where a guy claims he caught one last year. Never seen one in Montgomery county. ( where I live ) Had one I caught in D.C. when I was a cop there. I asumed in escaped from some kid in the ghetto but who knows. Should have kept it-- was beautiful.
i have a few corns that hatched last year if we ever do meet down there maybe ill give you a few.

sounds good. Maybe i will trade you a couple of easterns if you want. I have some places (if they are not cleaned up) where we can go and try our luck.
