Highwood Mountains (today)

daneby Aug 21, 2008 10:23 PM

My family & I spent a few hours herping in the Highwood Mountains today, we were hoping to find a rubber boa, but no luck. We had a good time though looking at wandering garters, & leopard frogs. Here are a few garter & habitat shots, enjoy!

Thanks,
Dan Eby

Really nice looking habitat. I miss the forest back in California, all the waterways and greenery. But, the desert herps down here in west Texas are just as great. Anyway, really nice photos.

Thanks! I hope to make it to both CA & TX some day for some herpin.
