Blaptica dubia

They are easily sexed and have a good meat to shell ratio. A normal sized adult bearded dragon can eat an adult dubia very easily. They also reproduce faster than many of the larger species of Roaches.

Hope that helps,

Randy

I love Blaptica Dubias!

They don't climb, don't fly, don't run so fast that a lazy dragon can't catch them. They are quiet, long-lived, and very nearly odor free.

The only slight negative is that they don't multiply as fast as crickets or some of the smaller roaches. If you start with a small colony, you'll need to hold off feeding them to your beardies for a few months to give them time to build up some quantities.
