After some rearranging, my collared kids can see each other now, and boy, is it making them eat, color up and head bob!
Here is Naiche from New Mexico, meaning trouble maker! Notice his dark throat? He is head bobbing and black throating the Eastern boys next door!

hey very pretty lizards!!how many do you keep to a tank? mines a bit crowded till i get the new viv? sorry to bring up a tough subject but did you ever find your escapees? if you didnt i hope their doing well.always gotta keep hoping they are ok!! good luck with your collareds!!

I keep one male and one, two, or three females per tank. I do have one tank with two males, but they get along fine.

No, I did not find the two escapees, unfortunately. There is a huge open, overgrown field behind my townhouse, and it is impossible to find two small brown lizards in it unless they leap out to say hi, like the anoles and geckos do. But the anoles and geckos are very fat and healthy, so my hope is that my two escapees are living it up out there, too.

well thats good!! maybe youll see em basking on a rock one day!! be sure to say hi!! lol! i dont think you would catch em once they are out in the open, forget it... beleive me i know...
