This appears like a fungus eating at the scales. A shedding cleared it up and it returned. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you. (Hope the picture comes out)

This appears like a fungus eating at the scales. A shedding cleared it up and it returned. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you. (Hope the picture comes out)

From the pic it looks like the snake is sticking its head and neck somewhere the rest of its body will not fit and is damaging the scales pulling back out. I would check the setup and watch to see what is happening. Take more pics and some pics of the setup. Good luck. Tom
You're right, it does look like that. That would explain why it is only on the anterior part. Thanks. I will rearrange the furniture in the cage.
