Never happened with my corn, but I do have a cat who does that...

he will actually step into the litter box and do his business AS you are cleaning it out, or else immediately after. Pretty disgusting.

I love the guy, though (And yes, it probably is a form of torture...hehe)

I don't know what it is... my snakes like to crap soon after I clean their cages, too. Kinda ticks me off

I have a BP who let's loose within minutes after I put her back in her clean cage. It does tick me off, especially when you are planning on going on to other things.

One of ours loves to let loose while she is being held. She is nice and calm and gets held every day, but evey once in a while we see her tail stiffen (we have learned to look for it) and then she lets it go on us.

I'd prefer in the cage any day!!

A lot of snakes seem to do this. My best guess is that handling them loostens things up and makes them have to go again. If you have specific animals that do this very often, maybe try getting them out and handling them a little and then putting them back in the cage for a few hours before you clean it (assuming it's not TOO dirty).

Nope, happens to me also (a lot). Every time I clean out my male cuban cage, or my male het pied BP cage, the next morning they have crapped. Also, I have 2 large boas that are fond of spilling their water dish every day. I had to break bricks into 3 pieces and put the pieces in the water bowl so it would be too heavy to tip. Sometimes one of them will manage to get it tipped a little and spill some water out. It gets annoying after a while.
