What's the stinking hold up???

boaphile Aug 23, 2008 09:03 AM

The big snake party is a day old and not a word yet! Everyone knows that tons and tons of people are milling about checking out the stuff on Friday. Mostly people that are setting up but lost of other people seem to find their way into the place. So what's new at the big snake party!!!

Has anyone seen anything new? Outrageous? First of not heretofore seen critters of any size stripe or otherwise!?!?!? Come on you people that are down there! How about a little consideration for those of us who did not go there this year? Show us the crazy stuff already!

Last year I did pick up one crazy little puppy myself there. This is him:

I hope I'm not the only "big kid" who is very excited about anything new and crazy that might be there! I am very patient generally, but this waiting on you guys in Daytona is getting the best of me!

That's the "Tribal Boa". Possibly a new morph but time will tell. Both to a pair of Colombians. Not here but in Jacksonville Florida. He is here now and hopefully will breed something this year!

Were there really hands in those pics, I didn't even notice the
hands.

That coral albino looks like it's giving off radiation or something...

Takes a while to get back to the hotel. Also wading with laptop overhead is difficult! Just kidding! Hopefully tomorrow if weather permits I'll ride my motorcycle there and take some pics. Hey, Mr. "B" I remember not too long ago I bought a 321 from you when your cc machine was down-you saw how broke I was a gave me a killer discount! Still got the cage and still got the snake! Snakes A LOT bigger now than in the pic!

qiksilver5 Aug 23, 2008 11:00 PM

where are the pics or the updates!?!

btw. that is one fantastic snake Jeff. I bet that one stands out even in your collection.

Unfortunately there is nothing that has not already been posted in the past! There are some real nice examples of what selective breeding and dedication can do for you, but nothing that has not been unveiled by its respective breeder already this year. Sorry to disappoint you Ronne!

How was the attendance, weather, and sales? Mark

jonathan-m Aug 24, 2008 11:20 AM

The weather was just fine on sat.
I didn't hit a drop of rain until I was on the way back home, through Orlando. I thought the attendance was good, considering there was a big storm visiting this weekend.
As far as sales go, I can only say that I spent my fare share..although mostly in dry goods (and an animal or two)

The crowd was surprisingly good on saturday but a little thin on sunday. For me sales were great on saturday and slow on sunday. The weather in Daytona on saturday and sunday was beautiful.

Balls, Balls, and more Balls. There were some nice BCC and one table in particular. I went home with three new babies.

Take Care,

Kevin
